Resolved - This has been resolved. One of our upstream providers was sub-optimally re-announcing our BGP prefixes, causing traffic to inadvertently reach more remote destinations than intended.

At approximately 1242 PST we were alerted to an issue with geo DNS which caused some customer's domains that use geo DNS to not resolve. The NOC was able to mitigate the issue at approximately 1255 PST.
